This is a great suggestion, I think I'll go ahead and get 2 of the Soundqubed 12 inchers, would the SoundQubed 1200D amp work?

that 1250 is a solid amp too, just make sure youre running proper electrical to it, build a ported box spec'd out by @shredder2 and the result will shock you

edit: you dont have to run a sundown. there are many brands out there that are far superior to DS18, but sundown is an obvious choice. The all in ones are ok if you want no fuss and not much bass. Also, most folks arent out there to blow their trunk lids off, but that sundown will give you some great response and the ability to destroy when that one tune comes on that you just want to crank the f**k out of. FU audio is a good cheap alternative. Massive audio makes a great driver for the price too.

indeed. @denim i just started a new thread asking for what the best 12" sub for $100 is. Can you throw down in there for me? Trying to build a boom boom for the kiddos 03 civic coupe. Got the amp figured, itll be a soundqubed 1250 or the 850

depends on how many woofers youre getting and what amp. if its one woofer and a 1 ohm stable amp (most new amps are 1 ohm stable when theyre monoblocks) 1 woofer 1 amp get 2 dual 2 ohm. 2 woofers 1 amp, get dual 4 on each sub

I think I've made my final decision - Goin with 2 x SoundQubed HDS212 12 Inch - with the Soundqubed S1-1250 Amplifier - Just need to find the right gauge wires, and see if I want a shop to build me a box or somehow do it myself!! All input is appreciated, many thanks to all of you! Once all is said and done I'll post pictures here

good choices. SQ makes decent subs and their amps are hard to beat for bang for your buck. just get the box built to spec and built well (make sure to use corner 45s) and youll be bangin

Yes, there have been a growing number of excellent sounding installs with F8L's in them.
