I had to switch to t bolt clamps because mine like that kept blowing ic pipes apart.

Yea, T-bolt clamps are mandatory in high boost applications. They were the first thing I installed on my Evo. I still blew a pipe in the middle of nowhere, limping to the nearest gas station to borrow a wrench. Now I carry a 10mm in the car at all times.

Ultimately, there's nothing wrong with a prefab enclosure as long as it's well-built and it matches the driver's operational parameters.

It's hard to say, as pricing can differ from shop to shop, as well as the scale of the project. I was quoted $500 for a custom ~1.2ft3 fiberglass enclosure for the side of my trunk finished to look stock.
