Cobalt SS Build!

I recently purchased:

2 Rockford Fosgate T1 Subs (12 inch)

1 Rockford Fosgate P1000 amp

Tsunami 2 Fared Cap (really Helps i think)

Got that installed (Pictures will follow tonight)

now i am thinking about adding these

I had no idea it would be this loud....i cant even turn my amp up

Dont believe everything you hear dude.

You got some legit equipment but I could never imagine weighing down an SS like that. Its going to KILL your acceleration and handling.......

well...im not gonna race with them in, the only time i do race is when its set up. its only about 80 pounds...total. if that. thats a passenger. so really its not that much of a loss. i took out my spare and jack and all that. so really its not that much heavier

It is atleast 100lbs for you subs, box, amps, and wiring.

Now that is 100lbs where a high performance front wheel drive car would never wish to have it. Any weight in the back of the car will hurt it extra bad.

my **** weighs 68lbs without the amp and only one sub!

You are talking like it will shred seconds of his time.........I mean maybe he don't even race it...........

My ST Focus when I had it modded ran 14.2 seconds in the quarter with the system out and when it was in, was 14.6.

That was when I had my old Pioneers in there in a 3.4cft sealed box that was heavy as hell! Had at least 100 pounds in there if not more.

If he was a hardcore racer, then I am sure he would mod the **** out of it and not put a system in it, or like me build it to where it was easy to take out.

The Cobalt SS's are pretty quick for a stock 4-banger.
