don't these cars just have the same engine as my Saturn ion just supercharged? Hahaha if it's got the 2.2 ecotec which I thought it did, it's the same as an ion redline ha

The current SS is turbocharged. Not only that, but its chassis/suspension tuning stand shoulders above the Redline. What's with the "Hahaha?"

Ok turbo that's a little different. The haha was geared towards if that engine was just supercharged like the ion redline is. It's kinds a waste of power on an engine like that IMO.

GM..knows about turbos..take my 3.8 V6 Buick...its turbo'd and prettty friggin quick for such a heavy car

No no I'm not playing down turbocharged gm cars at all. All I'm saying is it would make more sense for the redline to be turbo also not supercharged. I didn't know the ss was turbo, I stand corrected

it has a staggered set of 18's..i'm not sure what brand...i know they are high speed zr tires

I will lol all day at a ST focus running a 14.2. And for everyone's info the cobalt ss is a high performance car with all around impressive numbers.

I know I did just realize that. The regular model is the 2.2 sorry mix up on my part. I don't hail to me a preformance buff whatsoever. I'm more curious as know the comparison of the ss to the redline because I always thought they were close to the same class but the ss def has wayy more of an advantage over a redline now that I know a little more about it

How much boost are you running? I had to switch to t bolt clamps because mine like that kept blowing ic pipes apart.
