Same. I do that with my car stuff. But on those forums people are older and wiser(Buick and 350z forums) and so they search normally.

This forum,there is anywhere from 12yr olds to 30+. So common courtesy isnt always there.

I also am not for the NEWBIE posting generic questions I REALLY AM NOT!!!!..sometimes I see someone post a question and then 24 hours later someone posts the EXACT Same question while the previous question is still an active thread????

Happened yesterday with a newbie posting "Whats the best Sound Deadener"...but also..We may think one question is the same while others don't....I have searched questions and seen NUMEROUS posts in regards to it...but the related posts are actually diffrent from my "specific" question..I think some of these guys know it's a common question in General but are asking the same question "IN SPECIFIC REFERENCE TO THIER SITUATION"...We all see it as the same old bullshit question.. but they think thier scenario is unique and need "specific advice" regarding thier dilemna.

I mean the question of "what sub to chose" is all over this forum...but one guy wants to know what he should get for his HONDA..the other guy wants to know what he needs for his SUBURBAN...sure it's the same question overall...but the poster thinks it's a DIFFERENT

It happens! Remember, at some time...some where...everyone was owned at least once. So, if ur wrong...ur wrong. Plus...The Search feature ain't all that great...al it does is give you every post with those words in it... You will get every post ever made..I tried "install prices" and got 20 threads that had the word INSTALL or PRICE in it...nothing about my specific question....I know this does not apply to PRODUCT QUESTIONS..but it's not like you can type in your search and have an answer magically appear..alot of turning post pages is a futile search for info!
