hmmmmmm....i guess u haven't been following along.....

1) depression starts this thread by saying he,depression, was an *******

2) he started this thread to point that out

3) he DOESN'T want ppl to act like he did

4) he believes, as i do, that there is several cliche's here who feel they run the forum

5) he believes, as i do, that if those cliche's feel u'r unworthy, then that's what they will try to make u be unworthy

6) he feels, as i do, that newbies get a very unfair shake, especially over the " do a search"

7) he is doing his best to say that this forum needs an enema...and it starts in the mod room

what's going on, and u can deny it all u want, is the little cliche's that form here are having a tug-o-war. only u rcliche has a moderator (or two) on it's side. does that make u right..ummmm..no. does that make the other side right...in the case of this thread..yes.

the one thing depression did wrong was post this in the wrong forum..that's it. period. he came out like a man and said he fucked up, and he was letting everyone know he was told about it and he decided to do the right thing.

only problem is, ur cliche don't like the fact that he's called out a few moderators. u don't like the fact (and when i say u, i mean everyone who agree's with u) that this thread is getting so much response.

u know, it's time the moderators went to their moderator room and had a chat. there are some things that the mods need to change about themselves. and the truth is at least one mod agree's with me.

here's a scenario...three years ago, someone asks, which is better...ed or re? three years ago, ed would have been the answer given 9 out 10 reponses...what would the answer be now? 9 outa 10 would say re.....so the kid does a search...finds out that ed was the one recommended...and wastes his money on a sub that falls apart......three years ago, the same ppl that are here now wasn't here...so they didn't get to answer that "same old question".....

like i said...it's time ppl got off their holier than thou attitudes....depression did, now it's everyone else's turn

oh yeah...the mods break the sticky rule all the time....hmmm 10 days at the most for a sticky...only for important threads..which this is one...oh yeah, the one about ony two stickies per forum.......which is why this thread was unstickied...but hey, why follow the rules now?

Whatever..of course I agree with mrray13 again..But in my Post in here I mentioned that the reason I ignorantly threatened to kill someone was because I over reacted to the same cliche mentality mrray is talking about. I felt like I was being called out...it was a instinct to write what I did

I bet if you left this forum, half, if not all, of the drama/flaming would go away.

I bet at least a few of the mods agree, maybe won't voice it, but Im pretty sure they agree.

Oh, Im not saying Im high and mighty or nothin, just I dont see as many people being in as many flames, as dbfan. You seriously let this mod crap get to your head dude, seriously. Being a mod doesn't make you God, it doesnt make your wangage any better, it gives you the piece of mind that people THINK you deserve that spot. I was a mod, I sucked at it, so I would know.

I read pretty much this whole thread, and I agreed with a lot of it.

Did you know it takes longer for you to click the thread,and type and yell at them, than it does to just scroll down? Its really wasting your time, sooo..I really don't know why people do it.

So yea, thats my thoughts. Take em with a grain of salt(I never knew what that meant).

I may come across a thread, give my input. Then I'm gone. If someone wants to respond to my posts and make fun of me, I'll reply back. But I aslo contibute to this forum. Search my posts. Some may be OT, a lot of the others are helping. I may not be the technical guy and give exact, precise info, but I am not dumb. I also don't goto a thread and just yell at members unless they are out of controll(hardrockfan).

It happens! Remember, at some time...some where...everyone was owned at least once. So, if ur wrong...ur wrong. Don't dispute it when someone calls you out on it...and don't snap b/c someone utterly proves your "comment" or "statement" wrong. NO ONE is correct all of the time. but i will say that when i was a mod there was alot of drama on the site then as well as now......the drama will never change......but i agree that people need to get over themselves sometimes and try helping people that ask one of the age old questions........get over yourselves and help people...and try to keep the flaming to a minimum.....there is a time and a place for everything....most of the time.....the place is in the lounge......people should grow up and not be so quick to flame each other.....would make this place much nicer.......but who see's that happening??? not me..... well thats my $.02 worth.....have a nice night....
