Well I ain't gonna start "updating" this post...But I think you bring up a perfect Example..I was there that night and "I" also posted some stuff about "HARDROCKFAN"..he was stupid, definetle deserved a scolding, maybe a butt kicking..but look at a couple of the replies already about this topic..there is this underlying tone of "WELL THATS ALL GOOD DEPRESSION, BUT IF SOMEONE MESSES UP ON "MY" FORUM I AM GOING TO REGULATE"..Nope..it ain't your forum and you are neither admin or the moderator..So you can't claim this site as your street corner.
I agree with all of the stuff you guys are saying..but look at the "disagreement" not about Newbies or"posting" threats..You are getting mad because someone might be challenging or questioning your "thug" forum style and ability to start drama which is probably the main incentive for you to solicit this forum
I mean come on..you really think a NEWBIE is aware initially that he could use the SEARCH??? They don't know any better..THEY ARE NEWBIES!!!!
if a veteran member posts a stupid question or common question..THEN off course you can write a post trashing them and reminding them they should know better...
I am sure you live for that...the bashing and threatening Posts telling someone to get off your site and everyone to OBEY your rules..
I think a key point in my long post was the HYPOCRITE part....It's a double standard to bash some for doing the same crap you do..I have seen it. All you are saying is you want to Reserve the right to try and talk smack, Tell people what "your" rules of posting are and act like the "king" of the Forum.which was my point exacltly
In fact my drama last week was Exactly that..So when I got all those PM's it became clear people saw I may have crossed a line..but I was facing up against some on this forum who make this forum unpleasent and use the keyboard to intimidate others and thier forum sidekicks to back them up...It's the new age of the INTERNET COMMUNITY..too many of us know **** well we will never meet the people we trash Face to face..and that is the biggest incentive for them to post nonsense to others, and posting thrats and wise *** remarks is a pure indictment of issues this person has socially..and they take it out on people who honestly just want audio advice...and the common answer is
STFU...it's fun right??WWEEEEEEEEE!!!
