no shlt huh . these noobs think this all can be done in just a few hours .more like days - a weekFeel like shipping your car? lol
or close to it .might wanna try to make some new friends on here quick !!!!
For reference, I want the best audio quality I can get at this price. Not those ****** inaccurate boomy bass systems.
I know nothing about car audio. I own a lot of home theater audio though. I own a civic, so I am guessing front only speakers right?
So I need a:
-headunit
-subwoofer(s?)
-amp for headunit?
-amp for sub?
-sound proof for car
Is this all I need?
Can you guys pick out a basic $2000 audio setup (including the cost of paying someone to do it for me, I have no clue) to give me an overview of EVERYTHING I should be buying, please help! thanks

wow, need a hug?Apparently you fail to read....either that or comprehend. He has 2k for gear and install. He cannot do the install himself.
60 an hour just to install the mat ,the 25 -60 for the deck install 30 per side for the comps,80 for the amp kit 1 run of 0 gauge ,250 + for a custom box ,so with this you could be in the $800-$900 areaSound like yall charge too much for a comp set, sub/box/amps install. $60 an hour is about all the market will stand around here. And there are 1 or 2 good installers in my area at that price and the rest are just crap shoots on whether it will turn out good or not. Install shops is where OP needs to really be diligent in researching...especially if you just walk in off the street with a arm load of stuff they can't sell you.
^^^^ this is where some shops get youEspecially if you walk in with gear they have no idea about. They are gonna charge you even more for labor (not price...but they will add hrs not worked) cause usually they make the $$ off selling you gear at retail.
