It's a gradual process. didnt work on the car today, i was cleaning out the garage today. here's pics of what I did yesterday,

I need to take off my dual exhuast and reposition the pipes correctly. It took me about 45 min just to get my left pipe off, and there's 3 more to go until I get to the muffler.

after wire grinding it I started to spray some coats of heat resistant paint on it.

thats all I have for right now, like I said everything under there is going to be refinished and painted/coated/sealed so it'll all look spiffy

should have done the leaf springs flat black would have looked sick... but nice looking truck cant wait to see more

probably, I know how bad exhaust pipes rust and stuff, but I might i might as well try to make it look good for the time being instead of just leaving them alone

Been mostly doing underbody work, and I've already painted the axle and drive shaft.... I ll take pics after the paint is done drying, just put another coat on..

can you take extra pics when doing the walk through? im looking to see what needs to be done for support or just throw gasket around the entire thing.

Yup, I was planning on taking a lot of pics when I attempt it. My plan is to take out the rear window and just cut down from the bottom corner of it. What I've been told is that when you reach the bottom to make a round corner instead of a 90 degree if that makes sense because you can have real bad sealing problems with the gasket if not.... The only problem I see myself running into is that the bottom of the truck bed is higher than the bottom of the cabin so I'll have to see what happens.

no thats actually grease, I know it looks like rust but was wiping it off so its all good

you were told that because circles rarely crack. A 90 degree angle, however will. Do you have ANY plans for adding support to the body and bed after you remove what is essentially holding it together?

this is also what i am wondering. if i didnt need to add anything my truck would already have a walk through but i dont know how to get it back structual so it doesnt just flop around after losing all its strength
