well turns out there may be a ray of hope now. The needed me to work an overtime job on saturday so they couldnt lay me off on wednesday and now i think my boss just got another job because they are moving me to help him out next week so i may be able to ride this thing (the economic crisis) out!

I hope so man, best of luck to you. Incredible build so far, alot of custom work has gone into that car. I own a 04 LX so I love seeing these types of builds.

The rear bag mounts are done on one side. Tomorrow will be finish the other side, paint some things, and put the brakes on before I install it in the car for the last time.

I'm glad your job is still going longer. Tough times out there. Love the build and your boy is crazy with a welder. Serious fabricating skills. Can't wait till you finish the build.

Changed the brakes. This axle is really tideous to put back together with all the bearings. Took all day to do the brakes and reassembly. BTW the first shot shows how far you have to pull the axle apart to get the rotors out. Then Ipainted the arms, put it all back together, and put it back in the car for the last time.

Got the front suspension wrapped up and set it down. Just needs shocks all around and strut bars out back. The front is held up a bit by the exhaust, but it will be getting a full 2.5" exhaust soon.

i just got it not long ago. After having my car for about 2 weeks come guy rear ended me i ended up getting new front and rear bumpers plus a new push bar. they let me pick a different style than what was on the car no charge! You can get this one from Sentina for about $330

So i ended up getting laid off after all. I figured it was coming since the last 3 days i worked we basically stood around because there was nothing to do. Oh well now i get a paid vacation in a since until my union finds me a new job. But unfortunately the cop car will have to wait for a while.
