Bigbangtheory's 06 Focus ST build log.

No he isn't.
He is just shitting on my thread because of my opinion I had on fatmat, period! I know why he is doing what he is doing. This thread was started awhile ago and I have a hard time believe he didn't see it before and posted then. Wasn't till I had my opinion on the deadener and we got into a spat........ever since then he won't get off my nutz!

I understand why he likes my nutz though.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

i find it cool that you pat yourself on the back. I refrained from commenting on the fatmat, if you haven't noticed, because that would be a lost cause.

IIRC that fatmat thread was just yesterday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif and i haven't browsed the build log section in a while

oh lol
i only read one of his posts.

how much midbass you gettin from the 720c's? i run the same set in the kicks.
Is so-so. Love the smoothness of them though.

I need to get some sheet metal and self tapping screws and put them over top of the gigantic holes I have and then deaden over that. Once that is done, it should be right were I expect it to be.

Now, now James, you didn't remember correctly! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Guy posted that days ago about ED 45 and fatmat. Good try though.

Pat myself on the back huh? I may try that friend.

I started posting in that thread 2 days ago. big diff.

I wish all the pansies, praising your install, would be more detailed about what looks good. I really dislike fake people.

One thing for sure is, that you love yourself!

Deck looks good, nothing wrong with the comps in most peoples eyes. Deadening is a solid job if you ask me.

And like I said, I just threw this in till when I get back from vkay and finish up the install, which I might not be par with your standards......I am sure of it, but will suite me just fine and will look better than it does now.........a little better, lol!

I still may have twisted0912 do a false floor, but I go through to many installs to do something so nice. I don't get why you can't understand that.

lol, I understand that point! In one vehicle, since September 2008, I have gone through three subwoofer amps, four different subwoofers, three sets of door speakers, and four different amps to power those door speakers through passive crossovers. I'll make my install look nice when I decide to leave it alone:laugh:

Word.

I mean, I don't think anything looks like crap in my install besides the amp and crossover as I just threw it in there to get sound, lol!

Once I get into it, I will tidy it up some and what not. Least the shit is hidden! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Meh, thanks for the positive replys guys.

And if someone would give me constructive critisicm, then I am all for it. James has not IMO.

I dont' think you're looking for any constructive criticism. It seems like you're looking for people to rub your ego.

That spot is horrible for tweets. That spot is bad for passives or any unsealed electrical device.

i would've just stuck those tweets in my kicks or a-pillars with mounting tape or velcro for a temp install instead of cutting a hole in my door panel.

But whatever floats your boat.

Yeah, not all about sticking my tweets in a spot where everybody could see my tweeters......which would lead to, I wonder what else he has. Sorry, been there done that, never again!

Also you have chopped the shit out of your car IIRC, so what the fawk does some holes in my doors have to do with anything?

You really do love my cawk.........don't ya?

And did you miss where I have said I have done many installs like this with no problems with putting passives where they are? Of course you missed that. You read only what you want too. Gotcha!

now your gayness is showing.. great. venus...

anyhow, why do you think car come with moisture guards???

people won't be able to see your tweets in the kicks.

Maybe you should join krisfnbz and place me on your ignore list. That way, you won't have to read my "hater" posts or any informative post I decided to post during a good mood.

I'm not going to get into all this, but I have used Velcro on temp installs, and only recently actually flush mounted my L1s into my A-pillars. Before that, I had my Type-R tweeters and CDT tweeters in various positions on and off axis on Velcro for the past 2 years. The kicks were perfect because they were more hidden than your doors. Had em right under the dash. However, my mom has a 03 Focus and I know what you mean about the door panels. That being said, I would have mounted the passives behind the kicks and velcroed the tweeters to the kicks or A-pillars. Doors look good and deadened, seal up those holes, clean up the amp rack and get that box in there and you'll be good to go. I like this build because I like the car; has nothing to do with bigbang because I don't know him really.

And STs are mid-15 second cars stock. If he had said mods, I don't see why a mid-14 time would

be far off...

My gayness is showing, lol! If you say so chief! Besides you, nobody else has gave me shit besides the old man and my timeslip. So that should tell you something right there.

Also about the moisture guards, that is all good.......yet, I still have yet to pull out any passive crossover with any problems or looks or wear or tear on the crossover. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Again comprehension pwns you!

I don't put people on ignore. Say what you will, I am a grown *** man and can back up what I have to say.

Keep bumping my stuff and thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Honestly never thought about velcro on the tweets and tweeter placement. I have had other cars with tweets in the sail panels and been in cars with them in the A-Pillar and I honestly can't tell a huge difference in how they sound.

Also I didn't feel like having to spend a bunch of time running new wires to my doors, so that is why I have the crossover in there like that, which is usually my excuse on other installs, lol! Maybe one day I will do that, but for now it is fine. I have also already mentioned how this is tempory with the amp rack and what not and how I am going to deaden the holes with some sheet metal and self tapping screws. Will do that pretty soon.

Funny how that old man talks shit about me posting numbers, but yet the other guy who stood up for me posted 12 second Focus and never aksed him for proof. Hate people like that. Rather argue with James over pointless shit, lawl!

And thanks!
