Well so far just some pics of the equipment me and my friend Dave will be installing mid March as it is just too cold right now, not to mention I might have walking pneumonia right now.
This is budget again, but more than I wanted to go really. Wife was pissed, lol! Oh well, more than likely selling in fall as I get bored of it in winter months.
Equipment list
Deck-JVC KD-AR7500, got it uber cheap off eghey!
Front speakers-Pioneer Premier 720c's 6 3/8" comp set.
Rear speakers-Pioneer Premier TSA83 6x8's off deck power
Subs-2 10" D2 Pioneer Premier w250-spl subs (800rms each)
Custom ported box from Twisted_0912. 2.0cft total with IIRC 38 sq.inches of port tuned to 33? Have to ask him.
Sub amp-Hifonics 2608d, will be running at 2-ohm load, so should see 850rms, but these are overrated, so should be close to my RMS on the subs each.
Highs amp-Clarion 400watt. Will bridge to front speakers, so should see close to 75rms each.
Crossover-Lanzar 3-way on all. Actually is really cheap, but has suited me well. Had it in 4 installs and has yet to let me down, although my bass remote is broke.
Batteries-Powermaster 5100 in the trunk and Optima group34 in the front. ( No pics of the Optima yet, still being shipped.)
Wire-Knu Konceptz 0/1g KLMX wire. Was cheap, so decided to try it out. I wish I kept my Kicker hyperflex, oh well.
Deadening-Been done for over a year, but have over 75sq.ft off fatmat and 40sq.ft of Damplifier through out. And yes the fatmat has done me well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Will have build pics up hopefully by mid March depending on weather or how sick I still am, lol!
Pics of the verdict.....again. Think this is the 5th install in 3 years in it now.
2006 Ford Focus ST. Looks stock, but have some engine work done too it and it is quite quick considered to when it was stock. Port and polished the heads, chip, exhaust, air filter and most of it is not name brand, but got the stuff uber cheap and shredded a couple seconds off stock quarter times. Doing low 14's now. And yes, I still need to lower it, which I have been thinking a lot about. The tint is 20% all around with a strip on the front.
As you can see by this date, I haven't done **** too the exterior, lol!
Deck
Premier comps
Rear highs. Actually have been in since last install.
