I have a build log here, you can go bash or post whatever you'd like in there. I'd take it for what it is. If I can gain from it, it'll be great.

Honest to god man, you need to lay off a little. i've seen the stuff you say to ppl and you make it seem like you are the God of all things car audio. You make it seem that you do better installs than Dave Rivera. if you want to be constructive, be constructive, don't bash ppl. I, for one, am all for the DIY'er. You, on the otherhand, think you know everything about everything. last I checked installs were about personal preference. if he like his tweeters in the door, hell he likes his tweeters in the door. if you don't have a shop doing custom installs you should just STF. if you are so anxious to bash, why don't you go after all the noobs that start threads about "what's the best?" or "what should I get?".

Clearly, the so-called mods you listed were copied from a ricer menu of hilarity, like the P&P heads on a I4 car, or the ever-mysterious chip on a NA motor that transforms an economy car into a drag strip terror, all with no mention of tires. I am glad you can make light of the mods, yet there is nothing ricer about any of my car, and never even heard the term ricer-speak.

Thanks mang, and he is only hating for one reason. Because I have an opinion! If it wasn't for the deadening thread and me getting decent results from fatmat and voicing it has worked for me, he wouldn't have even posted in here, period!

don't waste your time on him. if he knew is stuff he'd know that the foci with the 2.3L duratec motors run low 15s stock and with an intake and pullies that it'd put the car into the mid 14s. I get crap all the time about my car at the track when I dial in my times. all the V8 guys think they know everything till I lay that 12sec *** whoopin' on 'em. on my street setup I run low 13s and they all cry b/c I spray saying "it's cheating". if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'.

If I did, it would look much more custom and I may do something in the A-Pillar with some fiberglass........which I have never done, but would love to learn.

I congratulate you for illustrating in no uncertain terms that you know nothing about this. FWIW, tires allow you to hook on the strip, instead of sitting still spinning your wheels.

It's difficult to prove that someone is lying face-to-face. On the 'net, the degree of difficulty is exponentially higher. Yet, due to a complete lack of auto-expertise and a ricer mentality, you've managed to show yourself as untruthful in a matter of a few posts.

Seeing how you've chosen to lie, trying to keep it going to boot, one would have to be an utter fool to believe anything you say.

Also about sitting and spinning my tires. I am at maybe at best 190hp. So I burn my tires right off when I take off, lawl! I guess I should go out and buy some ****ing slicks for my uber fast Focus, haha!

Install looks good, man. Come this summer, I'm going to get crackin on my Focus. I'm planning on either sealing the trunk from the cabin and firing 2 12's into the cabin, or running an MJ18.

I still havent figured out where I want to put my tweets. I'm halfway between fiberglassing my sail panels and relocating my mirror controls, and just sticking them in the a-pillar. For now, I've just got my RSDs in that little adapter i made. Works fine for something temporary, but the panel in front of the tweet makes for some funky harmonics.

Does the ST have the Duratec or the Zetec? I'd assume the 2.3L Duratec, right? I have the 2.0L and want to put in a few mods. It's got no balls lol. I think I could do a quarter mile somewhere in the high 20's.

Well if you know about the Focus doors, there isn't many places you can go with the tweet, so if you have time and know how, do something custom with the a-pillar. Lot of people have had good luck there over at focaljet.com. Also you can get all kinds of info on modding the car on that site as well. There are a couple more sites dedicated to the focus as well, but names not coming to me right now.

And yes, mine is the duratec 2.3L 5-speed, which the ST only came in.

What 10's you running? I hope I like my 10's. Been into audio for years now and never ran 10's, lol!

Yeah, I have nothing like that, lol! I had a full racing exhaust my dad sells at his shop and installed for me at Midas, which still cost me a good amount, but is considered generic.

I also will never get any lower, as I have a family and all my monies I get now go to them. Did the mods to my car right before I met my wife a few years ago.
