I plan on something that's not in too many people's rides. Maybe a http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=295-469 or a http://www.istonline.ca/mach5_ixl_15.html. I want a nice sq oriented 15 or pair of smaller subs. And in the doors I wanna do pods with 8" mid bass. Looking at a lot of different drivers. Main concern in there is sq over spl. Either way I plan on a nice sq sub stage , 8" mid bass in pods , and large format domes that can be crossed low due to the 8" mid basses rolling off in the 1khz range.

Like I said , when money permits it , I will be replacing the speakers and cleaning up the insTall in the trunk. Right now it's just hooked up. When it's done it will be pretty , not just some good amps thrown in the trunk. Lol

Oh dang. I have no kids. Wall that ish, let them ride in the port.

sq build. Wall isn't needed. I only need enough bass to evenly keep up with the front stage. I'm not out for numbers in this build. Maybe I'll do a wall or blowthrough in my pickup.

Correct. They didn't have the sound I was looking for. They tended to get a little sloppy on seriously fast metal. Mostly in the upper range. They were low end monsters but they didn't have to speed I was looking for. They sounded awesome in his truck. But I didn't like them in my ride. They sounded amazing on rap and country but rock and metal they tended to get a little out of control. I was also running them on thAt garbage fosgate amp and a Terrible pioneer deck so that could have been part of the problem too.

I was also running different speakers , different deck , different amps , only thing that's the same is the mids and the electrical.

Ya man, I was just kidding around. Have you thought about doing an IB setup in the rear deck?

I have. Not sure about it just yet though. I ran one in my very first car. It was kicker freeair 10's and it was pretty nice. I don't know if I'll do it in here though. I may consider sealing off the trunk/cabin and doing a pair of 10's in the rear deck in sealed enclosures though.

I forget who, but there was a guy who sealed of his trunk and put the subs behind his rear seats, and it supposedly sounded great.

That's how my ride was when I was a teenager. It wasn't loud but it was a very clean sounding sub stage. Those old kicker freeairs and competitions were the ish. I had both series. With the "inverted structural dome" lol. Kicker fancy words for a inverted dustcap. Hahahah
