how did you sand down the foam material? regular sand paper or like a file or rat tail file or something? Im interested in doing something like this one time.

it dosent take much,you could sand the foam with your hand, that stuff is messy

but sand paper was mostly used, you can cut it with a blade easy too

got the new plates built, went at it with the rest of the dynamat i had, sealed the holes, and woofers are mounted now, i threw the x'over at 2k just to play around with them

should have everything playing this weekend

i got the doors deadened and mids installed, no pics of any of that though, but finally got them playing, running active with the 3sixty.2 and t6004, xover at 2250hz 12db slope for each at the moment, eq is flat until we get time to get the RTA out and really play with it, little bit of T/A to mess with them, just quick ear judgement, but they sound AMAZING, ton of midbass, and everything is so smooth and detailed compared to my Pro60s, easily the best sounding speakers ive ever heard, and they look hella nice, if you have the money to spend by all means do i reccommend hertz millies, i could listen to music all day in the truck now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
