Why is religion bullshit? Because there is no factual substance to it. It is a cult and perhaps the most powerful tool of dividing people. I dont see any good in it.

bible fact, we are all sinners.

bible fact, jesus died for our sins, every last human being falls under this fact

the ten commandments, everyone breaks one or two of those at some point.

so murderers rapists terrorist kid touchers bank robbers thieves adulterers and non believers will go to hell on their judgement day according to you , but what your bible says that on that day our sin are forgiven because jesus died for us so therefore we are then deemed perfect in the eyes of god and then accepted into heaven. why is there a hell if it doesn't need to exist.

Not everyone will be saved. Only those who except the gift of salvation will be saved.

Jesus may have died for our sins, but many MANY people will not accept the free gift of salvation. God knows our hearts and if they are not for Him he will say "i never even knew you" and send you to hell. God is a merciful God, He's lets all live for a certain amount of time. That is their opportunity to get their heart right with him. David was a murdering lyer. Paul was a murderer. Noah was a drunk. Yet God loved them all and looked past their sins because of what was in their HEART. some of the most recognizeable christians will be going to hell because they are putting on a show with no real heart transformation

why do you say religion divides people? what evidence do you have that says religion is fake? As stated before in this thread, can anything be proven (science says no so do you disagree with science too?)?

Im a space engineering student. I dont believe in fairy tales. I believe in fact and logic. The same sort of science that allows you to have amps and subs. You can believe whatever you want. The same people that created your religion thought the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth. I just read your posts above, you are so ****ing brainwashed.

And why does religion divide people? Look at history and how people have been slaughtered for what they believed in.

Islam and Judaism both observe the same God and much of the same history and teaching, but neither say that Jesus "died for our sins and we are therefore all forgiven if we accept him"

that's not my job. God only wants me to witness what he's done in my life, I don't have to be His defense attorney*. For all we know Hitler got right with God before he died and is in heaven. I don't know and I'm not gonna worry about hypotheticals.

I majored in biology, I'm well aware of many things science. i also know nothing can be proven. Where did the first atom come from? can you answer that with facts?

That is circular reasoning. Just because we cant explain somethings doesnt prove there is a God. Perhaps if you majored in something like physics, you might have a better understanding of the question you just asked. I am in no position to answer it, I am only finishing second year physics. I think closer to 4th year and graduate level you can ask questions like that.

Your not saved if you don't except the gift. The opportunity for all your sins to be forgiven is offered to all men but you still have to except it. If you chose to ignore the gift then that is your choice and you will be ****ed for it. We were all created with a free will to believe and except whatever we will. How you spend eternity will hing on what you decided to believe and who you lived your life for.

its not circular reasoning. The point is you will NEVER be able to prove there is or is not a God. that is why it is about FAITH. Faith in what is unknown, in what is unseen. So you can say I want facts, but even the most commonly accepted scientific principles can't be proven either. Nobody can prove where an atom came from because nobody was there when it happened. I can't prove God made the earth in 6 days because I (and no one else for that matter) was there either. It takes faith to believe in something. you have faith in science I don't knock you for that. I value science alot, if I didn't I wouldn't be using this computer. But I know God for myself in my heart and have Faith that Jesus died for me. I have a personal relationship with God and nobody or nothing can make me doubt what He's done in my life already and what He will do for the rest of it.

God cannot be proven or disproven. Period. So stop acting like we need to prove it to you, it's impossible to prove it. And as I'm sure you've heard before, the absence of proof is not the proof of absence.
