You say it takes much more than raw power to make a car go fast but you named cars that need a lot more power to help them keep up.I stand corrected on one thing and that's prices. The prices I listed were "as tested prices". However I never said you need to have a big v-8 to build power. That's not the case at all. However, to go fast, it involves much more than raw power. Keep in mind that the "there's no replacement for displacement" rule is involved and is the most important factor as far as power goes. Sure you can do a ton of work to a 4 cylinder and make it put out 600HP but put the same work to a V-8 and you will far exceed 600HP.
all those trucks are BAMF's....nothing like a redneck or mexican would drive, neither can afford itOne of two drivers. Mexicans or rednecks. Oddly enough, both parties share nothing else in common and would jump at opportunity to kill each other.
I'd sell my wife before I would sell my Grand National.yum...wanna sell it?
Nice truck. What's the final paint scheme going to be?![]()
1966 chevy c10 stepside will be done this spring. not exactly "muscle" but good enough for me.
Well gee, I'm sure its no surprise to you, but the cars you listed are, lighter, the evo and sti are AWD, which allows them to jump off line quicker simply due to more traction. Raw power does not make a car fast on its own. You have things like weight, weight distribution, traction, gearing, and aerodynamics. All of those affect the acceleration and speed. If I wanted to stay stock? Who in their right mind would want to spend all that money on a crappy car? I could build a Corvette that would eat every car you and I listed alive for under 40 grand. In terms of speed, and handling. I don't know how you care so much about Japanese cars. I suppose your one of those guys that drives a ****ing Toyota and *****es about our economy......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifYou say it takes much more than raw power to make a car go fast but you named cars that need a lot more power to help them keep up.
I know you can get more power out of the v8 but I just want to compare cars straight from the factory. I love all the cars you named before but if I wanted to stay stock it takes more power to be on the same level as the cars I named.
Pics of said wifey? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Just kidding man. Nice to see a fellow G-Body owner.I'd sell my wife before I would sell my Grand National.
