Lightnings are horrible to drive

they look ok but they cant handle for anything

they have terrible play in the sterring wheel even at high speed, I felt very un safe in it.

Fast sure but could be better at handling

I guess Ford just wanted that was fast but had no control

Take the sport of drifting for example

sure it is cool to watch this burn rubber

But seeing this is a hell of a lot cooler

thats funny because mine has 0 play and is very very sensitive. Does not handle well but has no play and feels very sturdy/safe when you are driving it

98 Toyota Supra with a Titan Street/Race Shortblock, Titan Head Stage 4: Full Race, Titan 3.4L Stroker, T88H single turbo etc.

I think you may be mixing up the feeling of "steering play" and "body roll"

the Lightning did not have very large sway bars and thus will have a bit of roll during the initial turn.

I run nothing but V-8's. Leave that ricer crap in Japan.
Whoops! Apparently American manufacturers have started to offer turbo I4's and V6's, AND reconsidering V8 programs. I suppose America is leaving the V8 in the past and is now accepting rice.

Though I really like domestic muscle, I am a Japanese car nut. Toyota Supra Turbo 6spd. As far as tuner, I would send it to either WOTM (AZ), Sound Performance (IL), or Titan (FL) for a built motor and single turbo setup. Stroker motor would be nice, but def an expensive option.
