I don't really even know how to tell where they pulled it from they just told me it was separate and as far as the enclosure i don't know how to upload pics here but it's pretty big sub centered slot ported on the left front

I know he said he ran a crossover for my front tweeters to run with my fronts and then there was the doors then wherever the original sub signal came from that's where this one is coming from because the factory sub is eliminated with this in place

Ok I think I got it I've never used photo bucket or uploaded images like this I still don't really know how but I think I got the box and amp there

You know if I'm not mistaken, that looks like a prefab enlcosure.

According to who? You or the shop you got it at? Because people will lie to get $$. I'm not saying they/you are but it happens.

Says they but I went on DD website and looked at their specs for the box and it seems the same.. either way if I got ripped off that's what I'm trying to figure out

I really don't think that enclosure is for that sub. Prefab enclosures are tuned pretty high. I think you did get ripped off. I also think you should go back and tell them to fix it make it better or ask for your $ back.

If it's clipping they didn't tune it right. If your car is like my 2g it's got bass roll off. You have to bypass it or it will be weak.
