Advise for a Sub setup in a Camaro with Boston Audio

I'm trying to piece together my first setup for my Camaro.

I'm looking for a single 12in sub setup, that will give me the deepest bass for the money. I want to keep my factory head unit, and everything else in the vehicle to remain stock. I've read that I'll have to use a LOC, and tap into my factory amp in my trunk.

I've been eyeing Rockford Subs; which one would you guys recommend?

My amateur pick;

Yes I know, the cheap part is cringing, but the car is more in the performance sector, not much of the audio end of the spectrum. I'm just so tired of the factory bass.

Audio brands are just as important as install......that said don't get that crappy PA.

Might be better off getting something like a SQ1200.1 amp or somewhere like it and a good decent 12. That RF isn't a bad choice, maybe a SQ sub.

You'll be hard pressed to find a reliable amp that'll make more than 500W for much less if you're buying new. Even used the "good" brands should be around 200$ for 1000W. Pay now or pay later. If you buy good quality you'll get good performance, reliability and decent resale value. If you cheap out you'll get none of the above.

Only 500 watt, but should still sound good on a single 12. I just picked up this amp a couple weeks ago for a small setup in my Tahoe...
