For the record. THAT IS NOT THE WAY THE BOX IS GOING TO BE. I am still working on a good box design. and I am still trying to find out if there is anything else in those holes. If not, I'll take the stuff out and cover it better. Keep it coming. New box and new alt and in the works. Hang tight. I know it looks terrible now, but its not gonna be like that, dont say disappointing yet!

Tough to rerun the wires....I'm still trying to learn....Trying to sell my old amp to get money for the box. I would build it myself, but I have no patience and if i mess up ill go nuts and break it in half with a hammer. So need money first. Still working on a box design

I found this build to be pretty cool since I compete out of a 1997 2 door accord. But i'll give you a hint I lost about 3 dbs having the box on the backseat. It would prob load better off the trunk but if you are going with the backseat box make it sturdy and bolted down.

Yea, but I wanted to see the subs. This is daily for now, if I go comp, they will move. And yea, ill build a platform now, when I get new subs, I am thinkin about a wall.

yeah those holes will rub against those wires so quickly and fry all your crap.

nice amps though, thats a lot of power to be wasted on some 12" earthquakes.

all that equipment you need a wall. couple 15" BTLs would be nice.

wire loom under the car also lol, protect the power wire as much as possible.

The first professionally installed system I had in the early 90's was two earthquake 12's on 2300 watts. It was **** loud for 2 12's.

What ohm are you running the amps at?
Never heard of earthquake subs, but you seem to be throwin them alot of power. 15's?

Yea, I will do some loom on the underside of the car, the silicon will protect that wire in the holes. It oozes through and around. I had Chris Norris work with me on it and he said they would be just fine.

No man, its not really "fine", theres a right way to do it, gromnets are probably only a few cents more and its cleaner, and its guaranteed to not be a risk
