To my knowledge powerbass doesn't make a 13" They are working on a new spl sub , but I'm pretty sure its not out yet. I believe their XXXL 15" is their largest woofer, But I would in no way compare it to JL.

If your looking for the best sub only and money is no option yes JL's W7 is the best sub out there nothing else touches it.

ok to clear this up the 3xl will have more output hand's down! it will sound like all mighty crap though. the w7 will do great in both in which is why it is highly refered to as one of the best sub's! so if you want loud then yes a 3xl will get the job done. but ive gone my seperate way from powerbass there predecessor the xtreme from the older gen held much more power. with that said im sure you will find this info useful

Guy on here runs one in a sealed box and stopped by the other week, so I had a chance to listen. Only heard it for a few minutes and it sounded good and output was decent. Only heard it playing rap, so not a very thorough demo, but better than nothing.

Then we listened to my HD and IMO it CRUSHED it in output and the SQ was not that much better to justify the price. It was definitely a little tighter sounding. He's actually in the market for an HD now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

As far as the trade center, no one there is worth trusting. I cant say I know the guy mike hes talking about, but the guys there r hard sellrs n push stuff down ur throat.

I think powerbass is a good brand now, after buying 2 of those 15 XXL's. They pound hard and sound good doing it, so for the money i spent (300 for both) i think i got a good deal. Eventually I would like to upgrade, but i need a better car.

Whoever said the thing about other companies modeling after JL models could be right though, that its in a sleek case but sucks. I'll try and find out more.

LMFAO powerbass does not make a 13... ive played with their largest sub, the 3xl and its "ok" for daily and if you buy enough of them you'll get semi-loud. One of my former team mates has 8 of the 15" xxl's in his Tahoe, and he's probably burned up 20 subs last season. I wasnt impressed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif However he does do a around 133 db in drive by with them and its stupid loud. However, 8 of just about any sub wont be too quiet anyways, so :shrug:

Um well the reason i made the thread is cuz i cant seem to find ne info on the sub i saw. The guy there said that it just came out or whatever.

I know powerbass isnt the end all maker of subs, but my 2 15"s are doin just fine.

It doesnt have to be the biggest baddest shit for me. I just upgraded from a 300w amp and I'm finally enjoying teeth rattling bass. It doesnt sound like ***, and its doin fine for me.

Im not lol for lack of a better word "insecure" that I dont have a sub thats the forum boner right now.
