Fi Q: 12 vs 15

OK. I listen to a wide variety of music. I like what I've heard and read about the Q, and have pretty much decided on it. I've considered other stuff like an SI Mag, etc, but I like this the most. Anyways, not the point.

I would like to have tight, accurate bass for rock/techno, with good high freq. extension and decent low freq. extension. I'm not looking for any SPL awards here.

I will be getting one woofer powered by 1200W from a Nine.1.

For these qualities, should I get a 15 or a 12? Also, should I port or seal?

Put it in 3.5^3 @ 32Hz and it will do all that you want music wise. That's what I put in the GF's car and she plays a variety of music and it sounds good and has serious output when she leans on it. Giving it around 1200watts.....

OK. Thanks.

Let me add another goal: keeping my trunk fairly useful. This is why I was leaning towards the twelve, as it requires less space.

Also, what is "BP Power" that adds $40 to the cost of a sub? It's some option that Fi has on the page, right before you "add to cart."
