It's no big deal. I will figure something out. It just would have been easier to fit 5.25's on the door. Besides...they pretty much just gave me $40. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

On the places where the cutouts are close to the sides of the box glue some 1x2 pieces of scrap MDF to the back of the baffle/box. Will give you more support at those points and no chance of splitting.

The boxes for my 15's are only 16" tall, so I had to do the same thing top & bottom, worked fine.

You can get a hand held countersink tool for $5 and with MDF only takes a few seconds per hole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Again, why would I take the extra time to countersink if I am going to have to remove the screws for the round over bit?

This thread is about a build I am doing. Not about the mechanics of my enclosure construction process. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I don't get too excited over the builds and stuff here, but this one has tripped my trigger, good luck, I can't wait to see the finished product...

Have you mentioned what you are covering the box with??
