2006 Lincoln LS install

I woke up this morning with every intention of knocking out a huge chunk of work, but it's been raining nonstop all day.

The work will have to wait until monday or tuesday, because my friend is taking the car to Cincy for the weekend.

I finally got back to work on the LS this afternoon. Didn't get a lot finished, but I did remove the Infinity coaxials from the rear deck. I got started on the Dynamat Xtreme again too.

It's boring, but at least I'm working on it again. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'll probably finish up the Dynamat tomorrow. The big 3 is next, and then it's on to the box build and "boxing out" the trunk...

Got a lot finished today. The HC2400 is installed, the big 3 is complete, the dvd player is in and I even used some Rhino Liner in the spare tire well just to pretty things up a bit. Everything's working out just fine.

I'm going to fire up the PAI-120.4 and the RF comps for the first time tomorrow too. It's been a LONG process, but things are finally coming together.

I have pics of the progress, but I don't feel like uploading them at the moment. I'll post all of that stuff before I start the box build.

Hopefully this thread will liven up a bit once I start posting pics of interesting stuff...

Looking forward to pics!
And you'll get some......eventually. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm hoping to start the box/trunk build tomorrow. If things go well I'll upload a ton of pics. If things don't go well, I'll delete the pics and start over. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The vehicle's owner just dropped off 4 yds of black vinyl. We discussed a few things and the trunk build is definitely starting on monday. I can't wait for it to be over. I'm soooo tired of this car...

hahah tired of the car, why? well everything seems to be coming along. taking time.. but coming along. same why my set up right now, taking FOREVER to get everything completed. went from thinking everything would be done in a week, to now it being months, because of constant delays.

as long as it gets done. wana see some trunk building soon.

=)

The vehicle isn't mine, it's a pain to work on, the owner has "better" things to do most of the time, the weather is getting colder every day and the install has taken 10 times longer than it should have. Combine those things and you will realize why my enthusiasm for the project is all but dead.

yup completely understandable. car not being yours im sure kills enthusiasm a whole lot.

i even started to lose interest in mine after having so many problems i couldnt fix, finally everything is coming together, and its back in me.

I'm still insterested in the final product, but I'm not looking forward to long days in 20 degree weather.

I have a two car garage, but it's full of various stuff. I'm not leaving my atv, riding lawnmower, deep freeze and tools exposed to the weather and thieves, so the garage isn't an option. I do have a friend that runs a Fastenal store, and he's offered to loan us the loading bay, but it's a 45 minute drive to get there...

im looking to get a lincoln ls in the next week or so, and ill be doing 6.5's in the rear, do u have an idea of how much mounting depth is there? do i have anything to worry about?

i'll probably try to have someone build me a 6x8 to 6.5 adapter, and im looking to get a pair of Precision Power PPI 356CS
