Idlo huh, perhaps thats me. Ive never figured myself as a "sq" guy. Im the person that will argue bose earphones are the best all day long. Anywho had a blast with my setup last night drinking, music cranked way up. Kept thinking to myself need more base and louder mids. No where in my jam session did i think " i need more clarity". Then remembered im going to swap everything out today

Also come to find out, he wasnt selling the 2 10s in the box for 500. It was just the box. Which is retarded because he texted me with the picture and said how about these 10w6 and this wicked box for 500. Then changed it to much more then that at the last minute. Its ok, i think ill be happy with the 12w6

I found out today that he was just selling the box without the subs in it. He changed what he told me earlier so if i were to buy it with the subs in it then it would be closer to 1000 unfortunately. I just went with 1 12w6

having good clarity and having sound stage is two different things. you can have good sound without having amazing sound stage. if you are happy with it keep it. getting all JL gear isn't going to make it any louder neither.

we helped a member on here a few years ago and he was ecstatic.... this single 12 beats his kicker l7 15 he had which costed him almost 4x the amount of what he paid for this sub. All he put into the build was 800 dollars for speakers, subs, amps wiring, everything. He's still banging it till this day so your reliability worries are really not substantiated. the box was his first ever attempt at building a box with inadequate tools as well. But the design was way better thought out than an overpriced "car toys" sealed box. Those guys have no clue how to design a proper ported let alone advanced boxes like 4th order and 6th orders or 1/4 wave transmission lines. Sealed box is garbage for output. Designed right, all the other boxes can sound better than and WAAAY louder sealed depending on the woofer used.



All this is, is you completely brainwashed by car toys salesmen that dont know the first thing about audio other than what they are trained by people who are WAAAY behind on the times, outdated and out of touch, only caring about the money which they are doing very well hooking people with no experience but a lot of money to burn like you in their web of marketing bullsh*t.

none of us here are representing any company, we are just veterans that know exactly what goes on in the car audio world, lots of product knowledge due to us living, breathing car audio for years on end. We try to steer people to get the best bang for their buck and get them the most results possible with their money rather than poor to mediocre results with A SH*T ton of money spent. We've went through more systems than all the different brands and models your car toy's store has combined in our lives bud. BUT hey, that intern salesmen they trained a few months ago with no prior experience in car audio that gets a fat commision knows WAAAAAY more than us right?

i can also tell its way beyond its linear throw.
