12" Sub Recommendations

Hey guys i'm running a Audiopipe AP1500.1D amp with 2 Fusion Powerplant DVC 4 FPW-1200 subs. (450w rms, 900w peak) yesterday one of the subs coils melted and gave out so i am on the hunt for 2 new subs. I would prefer something with similar setup if not more powerful, i am willing to spend $100 or so a sub, since my amp is 1ohm stable i am looking to get the most out of the subs i get, they need to be reliable. I was looking at some Audiopipe txx-bd12 subs but not sure if anyone has ran into these, from what i have seen they are worth their word. Also looked at some Alpine SWS-12D4's. But overall open for anything.

thanks

A $100 budget for a PAIR of subs isnt realistic for good quality, but at that Price, and from my experience, I wouldnt hesitate to grabb up a pair of Lanzar Max Pro subs. They will slamm for the Money, and price range, and will eat up that rms power from the amp without any issues for a pair.Whats the maxed budget? You say $100 or so per sub, but not a given maxed per say per sub..An American Bass sub will be an excellent choice for you if you want to go with budget, and performance,Alpine Type R,even. You may be able to find one good beasty 12,or 15 if you have the space as well,in the classifieds on here
@Dtrom ; has two type R 12s for 90+ shipping each. Best deal you'll find for replacement subs at the moment AFAIK.
He does, and they are pract new also! Great subs for the price!!I would have snagged them up, but I dont have a need/placement for them at the moment.Very nice recommendation Styles!

Do what I can. I figure in time, the favor will be returned. If not, I'm busting kneecaps lol.

I would prefer spending $90 and less per sub so around $180 for both but if something is really worth it i would consider maybe $120-$130 at max. That is a great deal for the type R's but i don't want to pay the shipping and prefer new. Those Lanzar's look nice i see they are 1600w peak but how many watts rms?

Just divide by 2, so 800WRMS. Honestly, if you only want new, you should save more until you can afford something better. Why are you not willing to consider used? Some of the equipment in the classifieds are babied

Ahh I'm actually considering those type r's, I have PMed the owner. But if those Lanzars do 800RMS and the alpines do 500RMS aren't the lanzar's better or is it because of brand?

There's a lot of factors that go into a sub's rating, not just RMS, so one doing 800 is not necessarily better than one doing 500. Spec'd out, the Type R should outperform the Lanzar any day of the week.
