12" SQ Sub on a cheap budget

Hello, I'm new to car audio and I was looking at getting a small sub for my car. I'm looking for an entry level sub (between 100 and 150). RMS output does not need to be high (~300W). Will most likely be sealed. I listen to rock music and the amp I will pick depending on the sub.

What do you guys think of the MB Quart RWM304 vs the Tidal Audio vs the JL w1v2 vs the 2013 Alpine Type-S? Any first hand experience?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks!

Difference between HO and HF?
Simply put, the HO is designed for small boxes.

I absolutely loved my Dayton HO subs. I would put them against pretty much any SQ sub out there with no hesitation. It is better than anything in this thread.

If you want to save cash though, my vote goes to the new underhung Type S.
