Subwoofer Suggestions - 2 12's or 1 15

Currently have an AQ HDC3 15" running of my Sundown 2500D. Was wondering if it would be beneficial (louder) to run 2 12" HDC3's or 2 SA-12's? Or is it not worth the hassle and extra cost?

2 HDC3 12's would get louder on 2 2500D's, but if you are planning on running the same amp you have now and not adding another or upgrading, I'd keep what you have... 2 SA's will get loud in the right enclosure on that amp... But you'd be stepping down to 2.5" VC's & those subs would be pretty much maxed out power wise on that amp, or even possibly overpowered easily depending on the enclosure design...
