1 Sub vs 2 Subs

I'm having a friend do all my installs for me, but how much would you charge for the ELD thing?
I'm confused again, so the 900 is better for the subs? Wouldn't the 600 be better since I really only need 320W?
Id run the American Bass VFL 1880.1d on the sub and the American Bass sq900on the components. As far as the eld,I can come HELP you do it so you know whats going on,how its done, and see how to place back to stock if selling the vehicle. But check the links out,and read upon those.Very easy to do,and cheap,to make sure you want to do it or not.

Alright, how about the American Bass VFL-Hybrid 150.4? mylows recommended that.

Is PPI any good? I'm looking at quite a few of them, how does ppi compare to AB?

I have that amp..the 150.4,its very nice/small, and clean sounding.Im not running it do to needed more power for my setup in the truck, but its a great amp.PPI Phantom 900.4 is a great series amp for mids and highs, and has gotten excellent reviews, and is a small footprint as well.PPI has been around for years, and have always been a great amp.But for certain, Id run that American Bass mono amp for sure,.Either amp is a great choice for your setup.Id choose for my budget, and what Id like to have. But Both are worth the money in my opinion.

If I pair a PPI P1000.1 with a AB SQ500 for my comps, how would that perform?

2013 and people are still repeating this crap?

OP, you need to decide how much power you plan to use and how much space you have to spare. Space makes bass. Too many people try to use far too small of a box and then think it's the size of the driver that makes things sound like ****.

Ideally you won't want to run 1000W to a "700W" woofer unless you really know what you're doing you're likely to break something.

It's called an opinion, and your rudeness has not changed it.

Out of all the systems I've heard, I like 12s the most. Anything bigger than 12s sounds like crap.

I feel sorry for you especially when larger subs are easier to use for sq. A 18 will reach lower notes with much less cone movement this allows the coil to stay within the gap far more than a 12 playing the same the same frequency. And the more coil in the gap the more control the sub has. But all things relative many large subs are made for output not sound quality. Common theory in car audio is bigger subs are louder, while this theory is flawed it is common belief and audio companies know that so they design bigger subs to be more spl based. But take a sub like the ia flatlyne or the aura ns18 or an ae 18 and youll immediately tell a difference.

2008 Civic Sedan. I have about 20 inches of clearance from the trunk, and about 25 through the door.
EDIT: Is it bad if I power a sub that has 700RMS with a 1000W amp?
no it is not, set the 1000w amp to 700w and then you got overhead if need be and amp will run better as it will be turned down instead of having a 700w amp trying to max out to give ur sub that 700w....

Your a moron just quit while u have some respect left around here ..Learn how to do a proper install and you wouldn't have that problem
Oh god, you make it to easy... You're*

I had to do it. sorry. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But anyway, I'm sorry you feel I'm not allowed to have preferences.
