1 SUB = 150's

Hmm I dunno but I do know this, The box is just over 16" tall, 36" wide, just over 17" depth. The port is about 3- 3.5 inches wide and about 14 - 15 inches in depth and tall.

I did 150 with my 15" BUT some people dont think i did. I went through 4 boxes, and the one that did that was 4.2cuft with a 6" X 16.5X16.5 Port

thats a LOT of port, but it sounds about right. that was tuned to about 48 hz then, right?

i think i was reading it way wrong, and was too lazy to check my numbers even then. i was reading it as a 16.5x16.5 port 6" deep...sorry bro, disregard my earlier post.

anyway....we don't doubt you saw a reading that said 150db......

we do doubt the validity of the mic and the procedure blah blah.....

I don't see YOU....pulling off a 150 on a linearX with the equipment you used and arrangment you had with what??.......300watts you said....???

I don't think you could do it on a usaci outlaw with the new rules either...

I did over 152db with a tempest and 500 but that was in MARCH of 2001 on an Audio Control in a USACi show with old rules... ***** mic in extended cab pointing down.....

Not legal to do that now....now there is a globe and wind sock and mic has to face forward in front of seat back or b pilar whichever comes first. Even i doubt i can pull that score off again with new rules...and i KNOW i couldn't do it on a linear X like that.

All we ask....is when you claim a score...tell us what competition, what mic...and maybe documentation that it happend. The competition web sites often post the scores...just a link or directions on where to find it......OR....the score sheet......anything...

Just claiming a 150 holds no water at all unless we know where you get the number from....even you admitted in that other thread after all the rukus was done..."not a very good mic"

Maybe i should of told u guys this before all this shit started. I went to my local shop and they said they had a meter. So i asked if they can see what my shit does. They used a Handheld one, I know thats not a very good mic. SO when i said i hit 150, thats with that mic. Rockford fosgate Was there doin somethin, and it was there mic, so Who knows. Theres no comps around me, so i cant use a real mic.

id say go with a good sum not something that costs 300 i mean like a juggy shockers especially DD's btw in my told taurs i sweezed 2 2.5 cube ft box's in the very back so......

Dont quote me on the fact that it couldent be done its just highly inevitable, especailly with 300watts, LinearX is a biatch. but I also dont know what u where runing. So i guess ill just shut my mouth before a flame starts.

I have heard of people hitting them numbers with Treo's, DD Audio, and Shockers. . . So i would look into them subs. . .

If you want to get into the 140's with a single sub the Jugg and the Brahma will get you there too. . . good luck
