i tryin to help my bro with his system.......

i was lookin at these audiobahns:

what do u think of these? any good?? he lookin mostly for spl.....

also whats a good amp to run to these......they say they are 800 watts rms at 4 ohms

i was lookin at jbl 1200.1 but it says it only 600 watts at 4 ohms.....any suggestions???

i dont know much about audiobahn stuff but i bet that the JBL 1200.1 would push tose drivers pretty hard. JBL is a quality company and underrates some of their products. if you want to find a bigger amp though look into Harrison Labs, if youve got money to walk on.

yeah i got jbl 1200.1s and i love em i just not too sure if that is the best amp for these subs......and my bro doesnt have enough for HL hes got about 300 maybe 350 for amp

look through http://www.electronixwarehouse.com they don't have the best name brands for amps but they got a few 1600 watt Power Acoustik amps and some other stuff thats the best i can do right off the top of my head. ill look around and get back to you.

man....those prefabs **** balls. That's 800w RMS for the pair, meaning that those are the Natural Sound subs......the bottom-of-the-line-not-worth-a-shit subs.

Audiobahn makes the best SPL subs in their price range (somebody is gonna say something about adaire shiva's, but don't listen to them) but their prefab boxes ****. If you want more SPL for your money, buy two AW1200Q's off ebay for $200 and build yourself a nice big ported box (around 5-6cuft tuned low). I've heard 2 1200Q's on a JBL 1200.1 and it puts out more bass than any sane person will ever need.

The Shiva is a better SQL sub, but the Bahns are better pure SPL subs...

i would not buy there lower model with all there probs with that sub.

Audiobahn Ported Enclosures are tuned to perfection. Boxes covered in rich supple-leather with spun aluminum venturi ports are a great choice for quality, loud bass.

Did anybody read that off the website especially the are a great choice for quality, loud bass. haha.. they are foolin a lot of people

IMO they hit hard but they are sloppy as hell. . .

The power ratings are over-rated as well. And i just refuse to support a company that focus's on the cosmetics of ther sub rather then the quality.
