3.75 cubes @ 30 HZ pilgrim build

My table saw burned out today so I had to dig my old clunker out of the bone pile to use until I can get a commercial grade saw. It’s basically broken in every way except the motor still spins. The saw blade moved up and cut too far as it vibrated and ruined the first kerf attempt, so I just did the kerf cuts with a circular saw and a T-square clamped to the table, like the puritans used to do coming off the mayflower. Anyway, it’s for my Island Precision 15 that I currently have in a sealed box. One of the best subs I’ve used in a sealed box on 1000 watts. Enclosure will be 3.75 cubes at 30 HZ with a plexi window on top, sub and port firing back. Inside the box will be painted light blue with white LEDs and the outside will be an ebony stain with high gloss finish.

The heavy duty speaker terminals off parts express are groovy. Made fully out of metal. No plastic.

Running on 1000 watts rms. 30 HZ test tone. Coils were already stinky so I had it notched down a couple of volume clicks but you get the picture.

So I guess she is doing well ported . The high temp coating is what you are most likely smelling. They have a smell with no power to them. We gotta get you into a 8 layer aluminum flat wire build next, send it 2500 rms and it’s instant hearing loss lol.

Can you build this sub in a 12”?
