1500-2000rms 12 inch sub recommendations

Sounds like my buddy who won’t buy used cars. Says he never wants to own a vehicle that someone else drove. So he spent $60k plus on a dealership demo model....

I hardly buy anything new these days because markup is a real *****. Don’t be afraid to buy used equipment from old schoolers on this site.

I'm liking the look of that one

If you are willing to spend $600 on a sub, then, look at a Fi Neo 12". 2,500 rms. and it looks badass.

So they would be lacking in low end bass? I am just mainly looking for something that will sounds good and be loud
Then stop looking at these overkill peaky SPL subs. Get something for daily driving, not metering (DC, Sundown, Wolfram look big and cool but there not very practical for a moderate wattage daily music setup). There designed more for people just throwing raw power at them and getting loud

For your application it would be borderline pointless. You can get something like the Icon or Brahma that will only be a few decibels less but be hundreds of dollars cheaper + sound better.

Don't fall for the trap of "oh this sub has a 80lb motor and can take 3000 watts, it must be badass". Your already at a huge advantage with it being a center console setup (versus a trunk setup) + your stock alternator is decent. Your not in a situation where you have to try too hard to be loud

Audiobahns look badass also but they are still junk ... this DD is virtually brand new ..suspension stiff..no tears in the surround it's perfect if you can still see my feedback on this site you'll see I'm in the top 5 of individuals that sell or have sold here and there have been a lot of people .. it has the $80 optional real carbon fiber dust cap..besides looking good it wont crease like the cheap plastic or heavy paper caps ..plus it reinforces the cone for added strength ... but DDs arnt for everyone .. I ran them in competition because I liked coming in first ..over 100 first place wins dont lie .. I also set a world record running 2 DD 9515s .....this is DDs baddest sub next to the zs and you can see a video of me running a single DD 12 z in my mustang hich was the loudest trunk car ever recorded at the time ...if you search on YouTube [ 151.9 Saleen ]

I appreciate the help in steering me in the right way. Would any of the Fi subs be any good? I really like the look of those. If not then the Icon might be the one i choose

I use Waze on my 1500 NEX. The one time I did have issues I had to delete weblink and redownload it. I have location to "while using" on weblink app.

This would go a long way to alleviating the dimming issue, up to around 4000 watts. It can handle 100A continuous and up to 285A 7 second burst...

Well, there is always a bypass that can be McGuyvered. So next time you want to tackle that task, post it. We can help.

All you need. I've been running these for years in 3 different vehicles. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BL57JO2/?tag=caraudiocom-20

I had two Skar amps (4ch & a monoblock) go bad within a year. Post #2 is an excellent recommendation.
