Finished Building System, Any thoughts?

Because stock is actually a 6v generator. The car is 54 years old. The VW 12v conversion kit comes with a 55 amp alternator. I have a friend running two FI 15's on a 55 amp alternator. Remember, there isn't too much electrical going on in a VW Bug. Turbo 2,180cc

I’ve already owned a 2000 Honda Accord, that a friend and I installed an upgraded GM alternator in. Where there’s a will (and a welder) there’s a way.
Maybe you aren't good at fabricating, everyone has their cup of tea. That don’t mean you can’t have it done. There’s always a way.

Op.. I started out about box size and your planned power and how the 2 combined will affect output. I did make my case clear Regarding the Soundstream amps but thats MY opinion. Don't get all worked up over nothing, run what you got and maybe at least size the enclosure better for your power to get better output. It was just a suggestion btw
I'd say 4.5ft3 ish net with 55in2 of port minimum tuned to tle low 30's would be about right. I also messaged you about needing more space to realize that volume/tuning.

So, I have the room. How many cubes gross should start with (before sub and port). I'm guessing the sub displacement is between .20 and .25

I wish I could help... really... but I don't advise using gross ever. I'll say around 4.5ft3 net with 55in2 of port minimum on your power, where you like it tuned? Low and loud or a daily tune.
I usually work with measurements given and go from there.

It'll be double baffled, braced, 45'd and optimized for your power and available space.
