No one suggested "getting rid of the dollar".

The Russians and the Chinese have suggested replacing the dollar as the standard for international transactions with a currency that represents several countries currencies, but that wont go anywhere.

The "ditching the dollar" is a rumor started by whack jobs on the far right.

We can see what all this opening up the borders and one world economy does right now it's a bad idea. Investment common sense states diversify. With no diversity when one sinks all sink.

I think isolationist is the best. That way when we have a recession we just invest in japan or whoever is doing well. Seemed to work just fine till the politicians started messing with trade agreements and such.

the bible does say that in the last days there will be a one world currency and one world economy. it seems to me that we are moving towards that. you guys should take a look at what the bible says about other things thatll happen in the last days. it all seems to be playing out exactly as it was written 2,000 years ago. flame on but you really have no right unless you do a little research first.

I think it won't be up to us to decide one way or the other,, China owns this country and we'll do what they and the U.N. says to do. The dollar isn't worth anything on the world market as there is nothing backing it. It's just paper. Right or wrong?
