XX Colossus II for daily? Questions...

Alright I have done searches about this amp, but I want some info on daily use with it. When I searched I mostly came up with stuff related to competing, etc...

I want to know what this amp will REALLY do for me. I plan to run it to a dual 1.4 ohm MT 18" at 2.8 ohms. I don't care about blah is .3 louder then blah, I just want something that will make the MT slam with music. Will I really get 3000 + out of this thing?

The Colossus is rated for 3200w @ 2 ohms, and you are going to run it at 4 ohms... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Dont expect 3kw from it, at all.

Ok.....What if I run it at 2 ohms to a pair of DD3515's

It is capable of that power, but you need a very strong electrical system to handle it.

I've got this amp. I'm gonna run a nice alternator, an HC2400 under my hood, and an HC800 in the rear. Should be enough for daily slamming i think.

Ehh, the largest iraggi makes for my car is 240. I'm still debating whether I should go 170amps idle/220 amps max or 165amps idle/240amps max. The HC2400 and HC800 will provide A LOT to that amp. I'm not trying to hit 14.4v constant here, at 12.5v this amp will deliver 3400 watts. I'm not gonna be driving this amp at max all of the time anyways, just to show it off.
