i have a bunch of these XTC speaker baffels. there like a foam molded speaker enclosure to keep water off the back of the speakers when installed in doors's ect... my question is after i completely soundeadin my doors. ( im gunna go overkill on soundedining my doors.. 3 layers on the inner and outer panel ect) should i use a set of the baffels too when i install my type x woofer in the door? or should i just leave the back of the woofer exposed?...
thinking about useing the baffle but cutting it in half so the woofer is exposed but no water will drip/ get on the woofer...
basicly. should i use the baffles as an enclosure... or go baffel less
i have mdf speaker rings cut out that i will be useing w/ or w/out the baffels.. just to let ya know.
