I have too many obstacles to getting loud, no alt, and tinfoil car lol

He had a S-10 Blazer like mine... it hit hard... but didn't go low to well tho... he had a couple of 15's in around 5-6 ft3 with this HUGE kerfed port... it did look like he had installed several systems prior...old mat...etc

My 2500lb scion xb has long thin roof etc so it absorbs the bass pretty well

Roof moves too much because its thin and unbraced absorbing the low frequencies. The panel resonance doesnt make the meter happy

Yeah I've got to add mass to my roof as well... I screwed up and painted on deadener and sealed the gaps but never added any REAL mass... LOL!.. now I got to pull it all down AGAIN to do this... I HATE headliners...LOL

My car is slow enough with batts and subs and 100hp engine lol. Adding mass isnt in my future either.

Been out the game for a while. I'm in the process of selling my bike so I can put the money in my truck. I wanted to get a dd amp but that didn't work so well. So I'm still looking at my options. I seen a vid that popped up on my YouTube about the cab 1600.1. To put it simple I beleive the company is trying to send a statement. With the numbers it can throw would you run this amp in your setup? I plan on one day getting this dd 9500 motor rebuild since I was given a nice price from dd from an 18...
For the guys who wouldn't run this amp. Why no?

Back on subject... for the price... YES!... but my opinion is not really objective... I run 2

GT Mat Liquidamp... https://gtsoundcontrol.com/collections/gt-liqui-damp ... works great but I only used 3 coats on the roof... 7 on the tailgate... 3 on the doors...

Car is quiet now just flexin' on the roof a lot!...LOL!
