I'm thinking about making my first sub box and i want to make a vented box. THe sub is a Rockford Fosgate RFR2215 (its a old sub, but there awesome, atleast to me... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )..

so here are the dimensions for the box...

H: 16.8"

W: 25.9" These are all internal measurments and using a 3/4 MDF...

D:12"

it will be roughly 3ft^3...

the Port diameter is going to be 4" and the port length is 8".. and i want it tuned to 35 hz..

will this work? and will this be reasonable... Rockford says that the range should be between 2.25 to 3 ft^3....

if you guys have any recommandations or tips that would be greatly appreciated....

forget to mention that this is going into a 2003 honda accord 4dr...

dont forget to take the sub diplacement, and port displacment into account, or you'll end up tuning higher than you want.

totally forget about that... so i should make the box bigger so it takes the sub displacement and port displacement so hte internal volume would equal roughly 3 ft^3?

where would hte bracing go... i'm a complete noob in this stuff... but i would rather make my own and get some experience instead of paying like 100+ for someone to make me a sub....
