Would I need a cap

Well, I'm running 180w rms to my FS, and I'll be running 1200-1400 rms to my sub eventually (when I get the amp and sub).

I think I'm going to get a 200amp alt. and I have an Optima Red Top, but on top of that, do I need to run a cap? I just want to cover my bases before I do start running that power.

May i suggest a different amp. eD stuff is known for low quality. You can find much better amps out there

HAHAHA right....

With the 200amp alt and red top though your not going to need a Cap. Do the big three as well! That always helps out a lot too.

you dont need one, up grade ur alt. or throw in another battery.

Never owned any products from E-duh, but they have definitely had their share of crappy products in the past. I have to agree with lilmaniac, get something else.
