I have done it in about 5 or 6th 6th gens and it takes some patience and a little time but its nothing terrible.

i would just install the xovers in the doors, between the sheet metal and the panel unless you're going active.

That's the worst place. Too much moisture and your crossovers will rust.

that's not exactly true. there are plenty of stereo shops that will install the xover in the door like that and have no probs with rust.

there are plenty of different places to place teh xovers it's a matter of how many wires do you want to run into the door and also cosmetically where do u want them.

x2, in my prelude i have never had moisture in the door panel, if that were the case, what would happen to my window relays and my lock relays? my car is 15 years old and they aren't rusted?

i've worked on my car in the rain, and in texas humidity, no moisture...you place the xover between the panel and the moisture/vapor barrier, for dumb people, that's the plastic.
