Wiring help for Honda Accord

I'm planning to install a set of 6.5 separates. I already have two kickers l7 with orion 1200.1 amp install in trunk with a distro block. Now I'm getting a new 4-channel amp to run the wires to my mids and highs.

Do I need to hook up another set of RCAs from 4-channel amp to deck even though I already have RCA running from orion amp to deck? And how would I run the speaker wires from the 4-channel amp to the 6.5s? Seems like impossible to get the wires from the tweeters to the door panels already.

how many rca out are on ur deck? if you have more outs i would do it. as for running the wires you have to take the door panel off and run it through the boot to the back.

Make sure to install your crossovers inside your vehicle, either behind the dash next to each door or in the trunk. Never install your crossovers inside your door, as they will get water damaged.

i was going to install the crossovers in my door panel since my local car installer did it for my friend. i'll have to check the outs for my deck, ill be upgrading it soon either way. the hardest part is still running the wires, do you have pictures of the boot you're talking about?

when u open ur door you'll see a lil black rubber thing between the car and the door that's the boot.

oh that one, wow dont i need some kind of tool to run the wires through? looks too small to run through it.

boot = grommet technically, you'll see other stuff run through your door jam and door in it. its basically a rubber ring that goes around the hole honda cut for their stuff..

just for your information, i did this on a 1998 and it was a total btch to run it through since the boot comes into the cabin pretty far up the wall and there is like a fuse box in the way or something, just remember it was hard to get my hand in there to manuver

i have a 99 accord, hmm looks like i may have to take it to my local car audio to install the whole thing. im still a total newbie when it comes to this.

use a metal "snake" you can get it at lowes for like 15 bucks , but itll bend and might come throught the boot if your too forcefull with it

i would just install the xovers in the doors, between the sheet metal and the panel unless you're going active.
