Wiring help for Honda Accord

x2, in my prelude i have never had moisture in the door panel, if that were the case, what would happen to my window relays and my lock relays? my car is 15 years old and they aren't rusted?i've worked on my car in the rain, and in texas humidity, no moisture...you place the xover between the panel and the moisture/vapor barrier, for dumb people, that's the plastic.
I dont have a mosture barrier anymore I am putting rammat on there

Im thinkin of installing them under the dash

running the speaker wiring through the boot is gonna be a pain..i'll tell you that from now..
Was very simple for me on my 6th gen. Just get a coat hanger with the wire attached to it and feed it through. I actually don't think I wired it through the rubber grommet (boot), I ran it alongside. I just left enough slack for opening and closing the doors. Never had an issue with rain. Mounting crossovers in the door should be fine, I never had problems with moisture even when I took the plastic sheet out and took my doors off, literally about a hundred times.

your best bet is to do this..

run a set of 4ch & 2 cha rca's, and some 9 wire for the mid's highs and rem turn on..

9 wire is basicly all ur speaker wires & a remote turn on wire in a caseing. run the 9 wire behind ur deck and wire it up to the input's of ur factory wire hrness, so all you will haveing going to the deck will be. constant Power, acc power, Ground, & Remote turn on.

the 9 wire will now be connected to all ur speaker's, then in the trunk wire up the 9 wire to the correct output's of the 4 channel amp..

now as far as the crossover's.

you can install those in youre door panel. i usually install them on the door skin, not inside the door where the window is. but between the door skin and the door panel. usually there is enough room under the door panel arm rest..

now if you absolutly have to you can put them in the door. just make sure they are out of the way of water run off, or if you can, wrap them in a sandwitch baggie.

other then that make sure you ground the deck's chassis to vehicle chassis and the rca's just to make sure you will not get engine noise...

any questions pm me.
