Im doing a set up in my wifes car. think it would be worth getting this sub as oposed to my 3 10'' powerbass extreme evos? i want her to have a good amount of bass but i dont want to eat up the whole trunk. I would be powering them with a PPI pc2150.

I picked up one of those at a local shop to look at, and it sure looked impressive, but looks dont mean anything. I would consider getting it sometime for testing purposes, but other than that, im not sure. I wont say anything bad about it untill I hear it.

actully you may have hit the jackpot with those subs. They are the Lanzar opti drive subs. They are there best of the best for Lanzar and sound pretty **** good to boot. I would jump all over that before I do. I mean they usually go for about 220 on onlinestereo.com. So that is an amazing price. They put out about 1300 rms. So get a good amp to power them and you will be pounding.

Opps I should edit that. I just looked up and is the sub under there best. It is 750 rms. Still not a bad woofer. Now I am dissappointed. I was thinking of stealing that from you,lol! Just kidding. Also the type X Sound very good, but for that price of the X's, I am sure you can find something better. Peace!
