i am a first time box builder, so i built a sealed enclosure. the sub i am using is a treo ss 12.22 it is the older version and can take 500w rms. i am not really sure how big the box was supposed to be, the guy that sold me it told me to put it in a 1.75cub box, but ported. i built around a 2.2cub sealed enclosure. what are the effects of building too big of a box for the sub. thanx

- less overall output

- better group delay

- lower mechanical power handling

- more efficiency, easier to reach Xmax

- flatter frequency response

- better transient response

Depends on whether or not the sub likes low Qtc alignments though...not all do.
