It was approx 2 miles and I finished in 21 minutes. Pretty pathetic for someone who used to do 5k road races. I feel like shit and must work up the energy to down a shake. My calves want to jump out of my legs.
If it makes you feel any better, a typical boxer's roadwork is usually ~30mins at a 9-10 minute/mile pace.

So, wtf are the results?!?!?!?

So, of course I didn't run the whole way UHHH DURRRR. I'm 5'7 and weigh 245 and haven't done anything this physical in 12 years or better. That math isn't too hard. I didn't walk too much of it though.

245 and 5'7". How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? If you have anyone with diabeties in your family, start exercising more. You're too heavy.

2 miles in 21 minutes really isn't bad. That is a 10:30 pace. I would focus more on distance than speed. Your goal should be more of burning calories than getting it done as quickly as possible. I know I know, the next reply would be *well you burn more calories when running faster* but you actually keep the metabolism running longer by extending the workout.

Either way, great first go at it.

My cardio will not hang with more distance. I understand how to so running training. I ran 5k road races competitively when I was young. I am not focused on speed at all. I barely made the 2 miles before lungs collapsed and my heart popped out, so I don't need to increase my distance until I get a pace established and have better cardio.

I'm saying slow down and go further. Keep yourself throttled at 13-14 minute pace. You may have a great understand of running training when you were younger but have you ever tried training at this weight? Very different. You can't just go out and bust out some miles at high speed or you will not be able to walk in 2 days.

You are 33? *chuckle* I honestly thought you were 17-19.

short and fat... great combo..

i hope you trip fall and bust ur head open on ur bar, with enough force to knock over a few bottles on ur face, and the salt shaker being the last to fall..

then beeing the humpty dumpty shape person you probubly are... who ever is around wont be able to assist you to ur feet.. and you die a horrible and painfull death..

dirty .... how you say.. whoooore
