Redo it again tonight. This time delete both partitions with the disk manager in the setup. Then choose to install on the entire drive. Or format the other half of the partition as it is and use that partition for storage. I swear sometimes I wonder why you were ever on that other siteIt is fixed. I didn't even need the disc. I started the process and it actually installed XP this time without telling me to verify an old version. I have no idea why. I did everything identical.
So the computer sat for 5 days and then decided it didn't need an older version.
But the bish is, for some reason the HDD is partitioned now so I'm wasting half of it now.
HMMMM, no it doesn't even sound vaguely familiar.I ran out of time last night. That is what my intentions are for tonight.
What do you mean you have no idea why I was on that other site? Frankinchrist wanted me to join to stir the shit so I did. Sound familiar?
It doesn't install any of it though, just verifies it, but I can understand it not even wanting it to be in the optical drive. **** thing must of bugged in your favor during install lol.But it isn't a full version, and it said so 5 times last weekend.... I was mift.
I think that it saw the 98 in the desk and was scared to install such a POS.
Why not? Using the same account name and password should give you access it seems. We use quicken to and my file is password protected and backed up to the network server, so I will need to know how to take care of this during an unfortunate event.I know. It was a shot in the dark.
Indeed. I was like WTF?!?
Now, here's the real shitter. I lost my Quicken data. My last good back up was done when I had the files password protected, and you can't reload a back up file to Quicken 2000 when it is password protected. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
