now i regret it becauase it isn't quite what i need because i use it at least once a week.

the porter cable 2 pack is excellent. i have had lots of time on it and the cutting ability is just top notch. i know that moe lester hast his one as well. its around 120~ at lowes.

ehh the fixed base 1 3/4 horse router is like $138 at lowes here. The one with the fixed AND plunge is $200. I got mine off ebay for $148 shipped and the circle jig for $32.99 shipped

yeah i saw that today (the 2pack is 200) in home depot, but the flush base one is only 120....

no actually, plunge should be good enough. u can vary the depth of the plunge to flush mount and flush trim. u cannot plunge well with a fixed base //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Harbour Freight special here, has lasted 5+ years on various projects. It was like $79 for a 2 hp plunge router...

porter cable is awsome, my work has used the same routers for over 10 years, there plunge routers are nice
