its all box depandant and partially the quality of the woofer.....really you could have a bad *** 800 dollar sub, if the box sucks, the sound as a whole WILL ****..... typically its thought that sealed box's are punchier than ported.........but ive had some NICELY designed ported box's built correctly with good subs....and my single re xxx 15 (older one) ported hit just as clean, punchy, and accurate as any sealed enclosure ive heard with 10's,12's, or 15's......its all box and install dependant

but the way JL w7's are the fastest....they can reach 120mph with some NO2 boostage.....

i think the tc sounds 4hp subs have the most horsepower, so they should go fastest

I have a Sealed enclosed 15" SI Mag D2 sub and its very fast and accurate. I am still shocked at how well it does for a 15"!

i have an IDQ 15" sealed and man i love it. It will hit any note at pretty much 62/62 on my HU with 500rms to it, no distortion. If you want good SQ look into Image Dynamics!
